DAY FOUR: ROAD TRIP!!!
We head East through the desert. I tell Justin we're going to the big city metropolis of Baker, California.
I'm lying on two counts.
One, only twelve people live in Baker. Three of them are there just to maintain the world's largest thermometer.
Two, Baker isn't our real destination. We're headed to VEGAS!!!
We settled in at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, home of Blue Man Group.
Justin got into the Luxor's egyptian mood.
Our first stop was the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay.
It was an aquarium done up like Indian ruins.
There was a cool touch tank where you could touch mantas and little baby sharks.
That night was the big show - Blue Man Group!
We dressed up snazzy in our best suits.
Before the show they encouraged everyone to "decorate themselves." Justin took that VERY seriously.
Blue Man Group was one of the highlights of the trip!
After the show we went to Circus Circus, where Justin couldn't get off the rotating restaraunt.
Spam? As a slot machine? Not fooling anybody. Spam is still disgusting.
We got trapped in Circus Circus for half an hour before we could find the exit. Clowns everywhere. It was terrifying.
DAY FIVE: LAS VEGAS. We paid a visit to Star Trek: The Experience.
The line for the ride is full of props and costumes. Here's Justin becoming Borg.
I found Spock's coffin, but there was nobody inside...

...Then joined the Borg Collective myself. Resistance was futile.
